CHRISTOPHER BOOTS launched his Melbourne atelier in November 2011 and in a few short years is regarded as one of Australia’s leading and most innovative lighting designers.
Represented by leading design galleries and showrooms in USA, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and now with Fiona Barratt Interiors, London.
Christopher was selected by HERMES to collaborate on Vetrine d’Artistes to realise the hotly anticipated holiday windows for the flagship HERMES Boutiques on Madison Avenue New York.
SILHOUETTICA by ANDRE HNATOJKO | lighting & object designer
Award-winning designer ANDRE HNATOJKO has appointed THE SNAP as representative sales agent and marketing partner as he sets to unveil his new design brand SILHOUETTICA for OOPP.
Founder and creative director of design collective Lab de Stu, Andre launched onto the international design scene whilst studying at RMIT University when his POPPER pendants lighting debuted at London Design Festival. A POPPER TILT installation now permanently resides at The Ian Potter Centre Cafe at the National Gallery of Victoria; and POLLYPOPPER, a collaboration with Lab de Stu member Dale Hardiman, showcased at NGV Melbourne Now exhibition 2013-2014.
DAAST | furniture, lighting, architectural accessories
ANDREW SOUTHWOOD-JONES and ALEXANDER KASHIN came to product design following success with their digital fabrication studio KINK, where they honed a passion for furniture, lighting and architectural accessories.
The duo met during architecture studies, and are recipients of the Qantas SOYA Award for Craft & Design with a mentorship with MARC NEWSON a juror in the initiative.
THE SNAP collaborates with DAAST on design development, and has initiated partnerships to license DAAST designs and distribute products.

SHIBORI TEXTILES | Pepa Martin + Karen Davis
Textile designers Pepa Martin & Karen Davis have elevated the ancient Japanese craft of Shibori with the use of contemporary designs to create their collections of textiles, leathers, table and home ware, wallpaper and interior products.
JULIAN MEAGHER | fine artist
Sydney artist JULIAN MEAGHER initially trained to be a surgeon prior to studying Atelier, a technique uesd by the Old Masters in Tuscany, Italy – and for 8 years has been committed to a career as a fine artist.
Meagher has held solo exhibitions across Australia and shown internationally in Singapore, Hong Kong, India, Miami and Los Angeles; and is represented by OlsenIrwin (Sydney) and Edwina Corlette Gallery (Brisbane).
DION HORSTMAN | sculptor
Sydney sculptor Dion Horstmans, a regular collaborator with architects and interior designers on commercial and residential commissions, has recently completed the collaboration WALLPORN curated by Megan Morton, producing limited edition sculptures available from SPACE FURNITURE.
MURRAY HILTON | photographer
Sydney photographer MURRAY HILTON studied fine art and printmaking, and has exhibited photographic mixed media since 1992 holding 13 solo shows – his fine art background is infused by two decades working as a commercial photographer. Hilton’s latest body of work makes a nostalgic nod to 1960′s Australian Summer living.

Sydney-based mixed media artist JASON ROGERS works at the pinnacle of the film industry, internationally regarded as a leading lighting technician and film creative consultant. When not making film, Rogers is immersed within his own artistic practice – as painter, photographer, video artist, sculptor and installation artist; his studio bears the marks of several projects in motion concurrently.
